Sagaform is a leading Nordic design company that will soon be with our shop Juuka. We're delighted to have uncovered this wonderful brand because it very much fits in with our ethos in nearly every single way.

The company is based in Sweden and have a long history of designing then producing highly stylish yet practical products. Their product range changes considerably every year which is rather remarkable considering the quality of their products in the first instance. They manufacture goods in glass, porcelain, metal, wood and plastic and many are both suitable for indoors and out. They're particularly keen on designing stylish products for the kitchen.

We expect our order to be with us in approximately 2 weeks time so check back then to see what delights we have to offer.

Odin from Germany

When we visited the London trade fair 'Pulse' this year, we saw so many wonderful products but of course we can't have them all at once! Our latest addition to our inventory list is by a brand called Odin who are from Germany. Some of their lines are very funky and our favourite are their bath thermometers. Simply run your bath and pop their thermometer in so you can see what temperature it is. That way, you never need to worry if it's too hot or cold. Perfect for kids too. See their products here.

Fabbrica Studios

We're delighted to have teamed up with Fabbrica Studios and are now stocking 30 of their most popular canvases. Each is 90cm x 90cm and each is produced individually by hand and is therefore unique.

The Fabbrica Studios style is very broad, contemporary and stylish and has been established for over 10 years.

Vipp have done it again with another quality product. Vipp towels are now available and they are absolutely stunning. The quality of workman shop is very high, the feel is great and the look is great. They come in the usual colours, charcoal, cream, white, grey and purple and are available in 3 different sizes.

We've just had some really cool products in by a company called Mode. Fridge Monkey, Goo, and Keypads. So what are they?

Fridge Monkey - a flexible rubber mat designed to maximise storage space and stop bottles or cans rolling around in your fridge

Goo - silicone Placemat and Coaster set designed to withstand high temperatures

KeyPad - a wall mounted magnetic key holder with a hidden super magnet that grabs any steel on your keys for easy storage. Made from durable silicone, Keypad provides a soft, scratch free surface.

This particular model called You & Me Wardrobe Coloured explores the theme of hanging clothes by being made of coat hangers itself. I love the colours of it, and they make a teak version too.

Wesco Bins

These are one of my favourite bins of all time. They are funky, stylish, contemporary and just different from ordinary bins that are a little boring. The wide range of colours makes them ideal too retaining their style with not just their design. We're stocking different sizes from 20, 33 & 40litres. This bin on the right is my favourite and is the Wesco Kickmaster 33 Litre Bin in Orange.

Another rather lovely Wesco bin is their new recycling bins. Called 'Push-Two' it's actually 2 bins in one. One of the reasons I think they are so great is their 'recycling capability'. In a nutshell they make things easier for people, large 25 litre capacities means you don't need to keep emptying them all the time.

The bin is made from premium quality materials. It features an extremely steady base, powder coated exterior shell to maximise product durability, a non-slip plastic base ring that protects the floor against unwanted scratches, marks and scuffs. The last important factor about this bin (like all Wesco Bins) are 'no smell factor'. The bins are made so well once food stuffs go in, no smells come out.

Since our visit to pulse and seeing exhibitors that we never expected to see, we're priming up orders so that we can begin to show you what we have seen. It's really exciting times, and we'll have some unusual products that most shops will not have seen before. Watch this space as they say.

Pulse 2008

We're off to Pulse on Sunday to attend one of the biggest Gift & Home Accessory Shows in England. Sarah and I are both very excited and look forward to discovering lots of new products and ideas. We'll report back on Monday with what we saw!
